Inspiration

In many underserved communities, such as Guanacaste, children face substantial obstacles in accessing extracurricular activities. This lack of engagement can have serious consequences, notably increasing the risk of involvement in gangs and escorting. The scarcity of structured programs, educational opportunities, and positive role models often leaves youth feeling disillusioned and directionless, severely limiting their potential and future prospects. Many children in these communities possess significant untapped potential, and what they urgently need is the opportunity to thrive in a supportive environment that fosters growth and development. Addressing these issues is crucial to breaking the cycle of violence and exploitation that disproportionately affects vulnerable youth. One of our inspirations was the "Jovenes en Paz" project in Colombia, developing a range of programs developed for the promotion of art, sport and culture, completely eradicating crime.

GSC Outreach Programs

Programs for workers

Training will be provided for municipal workers, such as police officers, lifeguards and firefighters, with certifications and training focused on improving their skills. We will offer our facilities to support their development as protectors of the citizenry.

Programs for public schools and colleges

The program aims to provide a sports center for teaching disciplines that have never been taught before due to the lack of sports infrastructure in schools and colleges in the area. Schools such as Villareal, the closest to our future center, have more than 900 students, who will be introduced to sports such as swimming, beach volleyball, pickleball, gymnastics, among others, as part of their sports curriculum.

"Community Day"

Community Day will be celebrated on the first Saturday of every month, during which activities and training sessions will be held focused on team development from school and college programs. Various sports leagues will be created, both recreational and competitive, completely free for all participants.

Involucrar a los estudiantes a través de oportunidades de voluntariado fortalecerá los lazos comunitarios y fomentará una red de apoyo para los niños y la familia en su conjunto.
